Mir kommt der RefWorks Ausgabestil “National Library of Medicine - NLM” ziemlich falsch vor. Die NLM (National Library of Medicine recommended formats for bibliographic citation, s.u.) benutzt keine Punkte hinter den Autorinitialen und keine Semikolons etc pp. Ist das noch keinem aufgefallen?

Heute vor zehn Jahren wurde es offiziell: Am 26. Juni 1997 verkündete der damalige Vizepräsidenten Al Gore, dass “zum Wohle des Amerikanischen Volkes” zukünftig Medline-Recherchen via PubMed und Internet Grateful Med kostenfrei möglich seien (10th Anniversary im Technical Bulletin). Damit fiel für Bibliotheken erstmals die unbedingte Notwendigkeit weg, noch weiter selber kostenpflichtige Medline-Versionen anzubieten:

Seit gestern Nachmittag gibt es weltweit Probleme, wenn man in PubMed auf ein Zitat klickt. Diese Einzelanzeige ist gestört, man sieht nur eine leere Seite, am unteren Browserrand steht: “Fertig”.
Ausserdem gibt es seit mindestens seit Montag (einige berichten seit 2 Wochen) auch Probleme mit dem Clipboard, mit der History und dem Send to Email. [...]
