Einer der großen Vorteile der Mitgliedschaft in der MLA ist - nein, nicht das Abo von JMLA - sondern das Health Sciences Library Statistics & Benchmarking. Heute ist der letzte Abgabetag für den aktuellen 2007 MLA Benchmarking Survey, 280 Bibliotheken aus dem In- und Ausland haben sich bereits daran beteiligt (anscheinend auch für Nicht-Mitglieder offen). Die Medical Library Association hat eine sehr interessante Umfrage ins Netz gestellt. Sie kann von jedermann beantwortet werden, obwohl sie sich nur an Mitglieder richtet. Trotz der 54 (!)
