Ich fühle mich durch Peter Suber unterstützt, der auch eine gewisse Gefahr in Open Access sieht, wenn man sich als Bibliothek nicht rechtzeitig in Stellung bringt. Bibliothekseigene Inhalte werden immer unwichtiger, das ist auch meine Beobachtung.

Laut Peter Suber (und neuesten Gerüchten) wird der US-Senat in der Woche vom 15.-19. Oktober darüber abstimmen, ob alle NIH-geförderte Forschung verpflichtend (statt wie bisher empfehlend) in PubMed Central abgelegt werden soll.
